What is Leamington & Warwick Rotaract Club?

The Social Whirl

If I was trying to sell Leamington & Warwick Rotaract club to you, I would start by talking about the hectic social calendar that all of our members enjoy. There's so much to do!! Best of all you get to make lots of new friends whilst you're doing it... it's great!

The most popular social events are the pub & clubbing evenings (in Leamington, Warwick & Kenilworth), theatre & cinema evenings and walking trips. And at least once a year the club holds a formal ball (an excuse to dress up) and manages to fit in a weekend trip or two away.

Charity & Fundraising

We're a registered charity and each year we raise & donate modest sums of money to worthy causes.

Each year the Club will 'adopt' three or four chosen charities and during the year hold fundraising events. As well as providing financial support, the Club also likes to be involved in activities that benefit the charities in other ways - like helping at fun days, for example, or carrying out renovation work.

Help in the Community

St. Michael's Hospital Coffee Shop

The Club also likes to provide help to our local community.

Two regular monthly events the Club is involved with is - running the Helen Ley Quiz (Leamington) and the Coffee Shop at St. Michael's Hospital (Warwick)

Running a baked potato stall at the 'Carols at the Castle' and helping marshall at two local marathons are examples of other local events in which we play an active role.
