Millions was lost, all in the name of charity at the Casino Night held to raise money for St. John Ambulance.
Leek Wootton Village Hall proved an excellent venue for the night which attracted over 50 people and raised over £355.

Many thanks to all those who helped & attended and made it such a great success!

Weekend Away
- Cheese Rolling
This weekend away in Gloucester introduced the Club to the crazy tradition of throwing yourself off an extremely steep hill in pursuit of a rolling cheese.

Needless to say everyone managed to find some excuse not to enter any of the downhill races on the day, although we did get one entree into the uphill race.

An excellent weekend was had by all, which also included a countryside walk, a visit to the sights of Gloucester and an evening of bar skittles & beer.

COMMUNITY
Planting a Sensory Garden with Autism West Midlands

Members helped out with a 'Ground Force' style make over of a piece of waste land in Marston Green. Along with other volunteers they helped to clear overgrown areas, rotivate the soil, mix in compost and plant new
plants and bulbs.

The garden was designed as a sensory garden with water features, bright coloured flowers and fragrant plants. The garden will not only be used by the autism society, but also by local schools for projects and local community groups.

Autism West Midlands is a charity which aims to improve the conditions of life for mentally and physically handicapped people in the West Midlands and neighbouring counties.
